Rishi ha voluto riprendere alcune scene di vita quotidiana dell’India Moderna creando un narrativa molto suggestiva anche grazie ad un sapiente utilizzo del bianco e nero. La musica di sottofondo è di Hans Zimmer mentre la narrazione riprende due discorsi di Nehru sull’Indipendenza dell’India nella prima parte e sulla morte di Gandhi nella seconda. Pur essendo di origine indiana Rishi vive e lavora negli Stati Uniti. In questo corto documenta il suo primo viaggio in India in occasione del funerale del padre che culmnerà con lo spargimento delle ceneri nel fiume Gange.
Rishi Kaneria è un Creative Director esperto nell’utilizzo di vari media incluso UX, design, video, fotografia, musica, illustrazione, 3d, scrittura creativa.
Il video è stato girato con una Canon 60D DSLR. Obbiettivi Canon 28-135mm F3.5-5.6 . Editing and post produzione realizzato con Adobe Premiere Pro CS5.5.
